UPE Reading Group

The UPE Reading Group is an academic reading circle part of the GPIO department at Universiteit van Amsterdam, the Netherlands. The group aims to build an active discourse, through debate and discussion, between young researchers and scholars on the emerging trends in urban political ecology. It intends to cultivate the activity of reading together to encourage collective learning through dialogue and questions.

In 2024, the UPE Reading Group will explore ‘Capital in Urban Political Ecology‘ as a theoretical provocation to engage further in the discourse through its reading sessions.
