Anaëlle Bueno Patin

I am a PhD researcher exploring how governance processes surrounding industrial transitions (re)configure embedded and embodied labour-environment relations. Additionally, I am interested in how decarbonisation efforts impact industrial workers, also through the ways workers perceive and respond to climate and industrial policies.Empirically, my research focuses on two European regions with major steel plants undergoing decarbonisation due to the European Green Deal in France and The Netherlands. My broader research interests lie at the intersection of labour-environment relations, industrial political ecology, participatory governance and marginalisation. My research is part of the Horizon Europe project, BOLSTER.
