Wouter Pocornie

Wouter Pocornie is an urban planner, architect, and researcher based in Amsterdam and New York City. He is the founder of Bijlmer Believers 3.0, Bijlm3r Link, and manager of League or Prospects.

Bijlmer Believers 3.0 forms a philosophical foundation for a creative, productive movement that makes the future of Amsterdam’s south-east shine from within. They offer social and institutional reinforcement in area development to project developers, property owners, the municipality, and other initiators. Wouter’s talk drew on his community-based planning work with examples of how he deals with informal and formal participatory approaches to research and archiving.
